I report WC claims for a doctor
1) report to the company of the injury as I assume you did
2) have them put it within writing they have no buoyant duty job available for you to do as the doctor said ..report them doctor needs it...
3) be sure to catch your work excuses from your doctor and make copies of them beforehand you turn them in to the company.....and save in touch beside the company as to whats going on ...make transcription of calls to them
