I get hold of migraines too and mine are accompanied by confusion and problems beside my vision. I go and get dizzy spells. I have a commandeering disorder and my migraines can be a warning sign for me that my brain doesn't want to function properly since seizure are a disruption in electrical impulse of the brain.
If you were within a car twist of fate you may have be suffering from some long occupancy neurological problems due to head trauma. I would suggest you see your doctor and ask for a neurologist. They can run test like CAT scan, EEGs and MRIs to see if there is an abnormality contained by the brain (they can rule out really bad things resembling brain tumors etc). Unfortunately if it is something to do with seizure it won't necessarily show up on those tests.
Try to preserve a diary of your migraines. Write down the dates, how long the headache lasted, the symptoms that accompany the headaches and anything meds you are trying to use for them. Don't overuse over-the-counter pain relievers because they can cause echo headaches. I used Zomig for mine but it's up to your doctor what they will bestow you for yours.
Migraines have nought to do with age. They can be associated to any number of things - hormones (menstrual migraines), allergic responses to in no doubt foods...I would make sure that hypoglycemia is not allied to the headaches. Keep that condition lower than control as much as possible...
It sounds like you manifestly need to be more proactive when it comes to looking to what's cause your symptoms. Never mess with brain related issues because they can come to an end up being pretty serious....
Good luck!
