I do not honestly think you are going to entail surgery. You say optional, if you did have a surgery for impossible to tell apart reason, mention this to the Chiropractor as all right.

don't worry give or take a few it.........the worst that happens is your foot falls sour.........or blows up......no biggie........Go see your docot even though you do own back problems within could be other problems causing your tingling and numbness(diabetes, heart problems, etc.)
