Is there a doctor or nurse within the house? Knee injury...?

I intend to see my doctor tomorrow, but I need to know if I should be doing more tonight.

I lost my footing today and land hard on my departed knee hat. I came straight down, zilch twisted or bent the wrong direction. I suspect it's nothing more than a completely deep bruise because I be able to journey the half mile subsidise out of the canyon with little trouble. (The downhill bits hurt more than the uphill bits, if that vehicle anything.) Since I got home, I cleaned the abrasion near peroxide, and have be applying ice at intervals. I took 400 mg of Ibuprophen going on for 6 hours ago, no other meds. And I've been staying sour of it for the most part and keeping it elevated. It is currently slightly swollen, not much in the path of visible bruising, but it presently hurts like hell to try to put my solidity on it. (I'm using crutches.)
Should I wrap it? Is there anything else I should be doing?
I appreciate any lend a hand... again I'm seeing my doc for x-rays tomorrow.

You enjoy done everything right and all the things I would enjoy advised you to do. Yes, it will hurt more downhill than up. Wait until the morning to wrap the knees before you see the doctor. I mistrust that you may have lifelong probems near it now but I hope I'm wrong. Take another ibuprofen. I craving you the best of luck with this.
