Post knees surgery range of motion shocking! Help!?

I had a extremely rare cartilage transplant surgery contained by my left knees done 8 weeks ago. It was complete plain knee surgery. I enjoy been seeing a physical psychoanalyst since I woke up from the procedure and my range of motion have been ghastly. If I don't get my full extent of motion back within 3 weeks my doctor is going to do surgery again to remove scar tissue. The PT forcing my leg to bend and the exercises don't come across to be helping. I am able to bend to just about 95 degrees, but specifically it. I want to avoid surgery. Can anyone help? Has anyone be in this situation since? I will try anything...acupuncture, massage,, etc.... Thanks for yout lend a hand!

I would discuss a progressive static splint, such as by JAS, with your shrink or surgeon. This is a brace that allows you to progress a strech over a 30 minute period...this is usually best when done back the 8 week period, but you may still own some benefit. It has a short time "crank" on the side that you turn every five minutes to progress the stretch. It is more effective than CPM or dynasplints.

foot problem?

PHYSICAL THERAPY IS ESSENTIAL. YOU SHOULD ALSO DO DAILY STRETCHING ON YOUR OWN. ASK WHAT ARE THE EXERCISES THAT YOU SHOULD DO ON YOUR OWN.
