I wouldn't say that its BAD for you, but you should know that it can be a difficult place for soothing.

I had my cartilage pierced roughly speaking 6 years ago, and it never did heal up right. So, after just about 1 1/2 years, I removed my loop and let it grow up. (It would receive better, then if I slept on it fundamentally much it would be VERY sore. Infection was never a problem, lately really uncomfortable)

This may not be typical, but I know several people who own had it done and have problems with the comfort stratum. (And yes, all of them kept it cleaned) On the other mitt, I know several who have the piercing and own had no problems at adjectives.
