I realize how convoluted this can all be. I've been within touch with several doctors, nurses, health-care agencies, and a Medicare rep. All I can right to be heard is the information I've obtained have been sketchy at best. Mom is within final stages of cancer and a related rare disease call amyloidosis. She requires full-time care presently, and we've hired sitters to help us, but we can't do this for any length of time. She's not currently below hospice, although she certainly qualify for that. Thank God pain command has not be an issue, but having relatives who can help bring of her now that she is becoming totally bedfast is a crucial issue. Does anyone know who we can contact that might have some answers and help out us wade through all this mess???????? If any of you hold had any experience next to home health guardianship and Medicare, I would certainly meet your input as well. Thank you!

Hospice will know how to offer her more services at this stage contained by a week than the home health I believe. Call the Home Health agency though your doctor uses for most of his patients and see if she would qualify for how heaps visits a week? some to go for a dip her, sometimes they will even send someone to relieve clean, you freshly need to give the name. Then call the Hospice and compare servcies.
Medicare covers home form and hospice services if they qualify.
