Also relate your doctor to put in writing on your medical chart that you are requesting ________ for your distress. they will write the perscription, no doctor is gonna put in your chart that you requested sleep aids or backache meds for chronic pain and denied you.

I am sorry to hear that you hold not found relief, as far as person knocked out by the narcotics, capably that is where on earth the addiction comes in for so frequent people it does not knock them out, it give them a euphoric feeling, perk them up, I know this for a fact!!
As far as Neurontin, please be wary, I have a friend, an amputee, and she too be prescribed Neurontin, for her phantom pains, she said that the Neurontin when she came bad of them made her phantom pains worse!! Neurontin originally from what little I know about it, it be originally for epileptics!! I believe to help control seizure!! How about a Beta-Blocker? or an anti-depressant, or I don`t know a tranquilizer since stress seems to aggravate your symptoms?!! Good Luck!!
