Have you ever been stung by a hornet,or wasp?
I have the same throbbing problem a year ago. The doctor ordered physical therapy where on earth they have this machine-can't deliberate of the name-that provides traction to the neck. It kind-heartedly extends the neck, pause, and then releases it. I would be on it for going on for 15 minutes and it felt so virtuous. Eventually, the nerve be released and I haven't had a problem since. I am aware that some chiropracters must hold the same type of device which would be a less expensive agency to go. The doctor have injected me 2 times with cortisone within the shoulder muscle, but, it did not help the problem which is why he ordered physical psychotherapy. He also prescribed the muscle relaxer Flexeril. It was the P.T. that really cured the problem. The ER probably can't back you if this is the problem and would simply refer you to a specialist. Good luck because this is such a painful condition!
I know how you feel, I hold just going on for every symptom you jsut described. I take a loratab for cramp and a heating wad works too. But lately I have purely been trying to concord with it until I can see a chiropractor. Which may be a well-mannered idea.
