I have a concussion and my doctor say I'm nuts. What the heck?
I have a concussion from hitting my person in charge a week ago and getting knocked comatose. I went to ER, have a cat scan and nothing shows wrong. A week next I'm having main headaches, dizzy spells, memory loss, fatique, stability problems and major problems concentrating and focusing. I go to a doctor today and first he asked if I was on drugs, No, I'm not. thank you deeply much. Then he said he sees zilch wrong with me but a touch bruise and gave me an RX for suppositories for my dizziness. He didn't even exam me beyaind listen to my heart and lungs. I am furious he dismissed me as being a big kid who should go support to work. I am insulted and outraged to have emaciated a whole morning to be treated like that. Has anyone else have this experience with a person in charge injury that is dismissed near such disdain and disrespect? This is why I never go to the doctor within the FL Keys. I'd rather see a vet. Plus he told me at my age I be stupid not to see a doctor every year.
Answer:
Your condition insurance will cover a second opinion, I insist on you to get one. As far as your issues, I don't know what to narrate you. Since you were knock unconscious, it should own been treated as a Level 1 concussion. It won't hurt to run the RX, but have your strength ins. refer you to a specialist in head trauma, you may necessitate another scan to determine what else could be going on. Good luck.

There are lots of doctors out here. get other opinion and remember doctors are only human so they do receive mistakes whether they want to admit or not. Talk to another doctor and possibly get a mri ordered since the ct didn't show anything. Don't lug any chances. Its your life span not theirs so see other people in the order of this. I was surrounded by an auto accident within feb of last year and my pains become worse with ratification time while seeing my chiropractor and md. I asked about mri's , ct's and anything else they could do to look at the soft tissue(xray's are only for bone) economically they stated i wasn't exhibiting the "right" pain so nought was ordered. six months and i be still requesting an mri and finally i got my yearning. Well, what ya know. I have disc problems surrounded by my lumbar area. If i have taken their word as gold i would be contained by oblivian. Good luckabout two months ago i had a horrible ear infection?
No doctor should treat you that approach. Since this doesn't sound similar to your normal physician you inevitability to find another one. Since you are experiencing some pretty serious neurological symptoms you need to see a neurologist. If you own insurance go to the hospital. You will obligation to be able to communicate the doctor how the head injury happen, what medicines you own taken since it happened, what treatments you enjoy had & if you saw a doctor at the time of the injury. Don't tolerate a jerk beside a medical degree construct you think you don't know when something is wrong next to you.
