Does fluid removal from the knees hurt?
Answers:
Hey, my husband is a mat installer and he has unambiguously gotten some water on the knees. They gave him a local which help a little but he have alot of calus or thick skin so the doc almost broke the plunger trying to get though that. That didn't really hurt him too much but wen they be draining, they were moving the hypodermic under his knees cap and the movement is what hurt him. I don't know if you enjoy the same situation but if it is, you should probably assume for a time pain at most minuscule. Talk to your doc about that...
No, they the nurse and the doctor inserts a small tube into the infusion and it drain the fluid and only take 20-30 minutes and then the doctor may perscribe some rime for the effusion for comfort or tylenol.
