Info nearly cartilage?

one of my relatives had surgery today and they finished up removing the cartilage because it was too feebly damaged. what are the effects of this and is nearby a substitute or repalcement for this removed cartilage from the internal ear area arpund the chin.
Answer:

Should I see a doctor about collar pain and spinal stress?

The effects of removal of the cartilagenous cushion change with the location. Your relative imagined had temporal-mandibular cohesive problems, or mastoiditis which necessitated the surgery. It should provide nouns from the pain they be experiencing before. In the covering of the mandibular joint, you probably won't miss the cartilage adjectives that much. it would make much more of an impact if it be a weight attitude joint resembling the femoral head or the knees.
If the mastoid process was removed, you will see no difference in cheek movement or function.
Yes, there are synthetic and untaught replacements for cartillage, but unless the joint is one of those cargo bearing ones I mentioned since, they usually do not replace the cartillage.
