MEDICATION: I know you said you own trouble taking pills but ambien and others out there are small and do work capably for many
Routine: Stick to a specific routine-it sounds silly but this works wonders for me. I go to bed at one and the same time every night and allow for 30-45 minutes of reading time. I play relaxation music softly while I read and I also burn incense for aroma psychoanalysis to relax. After the allotted time, my lights go out, the music plays and I relax my muscles group by group until I can drift into sleep. I don't suspend out in my bed unless I am getting in place to actually sleep. If I can't catch to sleep after 30 minutes i leave bed until I am in position to try again but I typically make it to sleep the first time very soon.
Herbal teas such as Sleepy TIme (I don't know the brand, just the name) or others containing chamomile backing me settle before bed as economically.
Get off any caffeine, not basically the second half of the sunshine, I simply eliminated it for the most part of a set and it also has help.

I tried everything since I be a little to try and sleep and zilch worked. None of the over-the-counter meds will help you. I be also on several prescription meds which did not help any.
Finally, there be two solutions. The first was call Seroquel. It is a prescription , and used as an anti-psychotic ~ but it works! My doctor was more than jovial to put me on it for long term when we realised that it have no side-effects, no weight gain, nil! Just pure sleep.
I'm off that very soon and am on Glucophage, which is a diabetic medication (so if you have problems next to your sugar levels self too high, it help with that as well) Again, no side effects, but does assist you lose a few pounds as well. Sleep approaching a baby every darkness!

If you want to sleep better, then practice doing zilch for five minutes a day. Find a place to sit where on earth no one can bother you, and sit. Don't ponder about stuff, do do anything except I don`t know eat a sandwich. Just sit and appreciate it. If you can do that, you'll find sleeping will be a snap.
Might I suggest a sleep routine? We are adjectives creatures of routines...they reassure us in uncertain times. This might nouns overly preachy, but I think it have some validity.
First, see a Doctor and describe your symptoms ---spend a week writing down your events and what you eat throughout respectively day. A doctor might be capable of spot something that you don't and can help you wipe out possible problems from a potential list.
If you own too much stress, think in the order of a relaxing routine before bed. Keep the lights low, listen to some nice music, give somebody a lift a long, hot bath and try some hot milk and honey beside a little cinnamon. Don't answer the phone, don't check your computer one final time, don't make a record for tomorrow (do that earlier!).
