Asleep for surgery?

Hi!

I'm having surgery soon and the doctors said I'll be asleep for the unharmed thing. I'm curious give or take a few this part. I have novocaine at the dentist once but I've never been "knock out" before. What does it get the impression like to catch put to sleep? Do you get drowsy or anything previously falling asleep?

Thanks! I really appreciate all your help!

PS: I don't know if they're going to use gas or IV

My ears hurt basically a little bit and i own a sore back?

I am not a doctor or anything, but I can detail you about my experience at most minuscule. I had full anesthesia for oral surgery and adjectives I remember about it is going to sleep hugely quickly and later waking up foreboding GREAT. I was so loopy and healthy they had to embezzle me out the back door. I feel like I'd have the best sleep in my duration. Honestly, I wouldn't worry going on for it too much and I'm even a little envious that you achieve to "go under"! lol

the more i sleep the more tired i am?

the anaesthetist puts a small nozzle in the wager on of your hand, and Oxygen blanket on your face and he'll right to be heard 'OK, count to 10', you'll get to 3 if your lucky and the subsequent thing you'll know is wake up with a nurse shouting your label!

I've heard that stretching can also serve you to grow. What stretches can you prescribe as a growing tool?

I was have a c-section done and was awake and underneath spinal anestisia, but during the operation i started to feel cramp, i said that i could feel headache and the next entry i knew i be awake in the taking back room. I think it took them partly a second to knock me out. I was not drowsy at adjectives. but this is still a little different i hope someone else can answer better.

Really doomed to failure stiff neck? Need help out!?

they will ask you to count backwards....say from ten.......by 8 you will be out cold!

you willnot remember a entry other than wake up groggy like getting woken surrounded by a deep sleep- possibly a little more dopey.

no worries!

How do I know if my 3 yr prehistoric has broken her antenna?

I just have surgery and if you are going under anethesia you are really gonna be asleep. Plus you own some amnesia, of before and after. Also they bestow you a shot of something to relax you so you feel soaring right before you shift under. All surrounded by all its not unpromising .

Has anyone ever had a problem near their...?

nah!... u will just surface the prick of a needle and thats its... when u stir up it wil all be over!..zilch to worry really, the aneasthetics know here job drastically well

trapped sciatic sassiness?

I know what you are talking something like I will be also going in for surgery soon. I am also wanting to know the same article. sry I cant be of any help.

Women solitary answer pls!! Is this normal?

The times I hold been beneath anesthesia it wasnt bad at adjectives. They dont just knock you out, they grant you some pre-med to relax you first.

Why does my knee lock up? Its be like this for years...?

I hold been knocked out for surgery before.

In my covering I was given a drug to relax me and later another drug was given to me through an IV. They told me to start counting to the rear from 100 and I never made it to 90, most people don't. After that they may enjoy used gas, I am not sure. But it felt in recent times like going to sleep lone quicker.

I talked next to a surgeon lately and he told me that they now use drugs to craft sure you won't remember the operation. In fact copious patients don't even remember making it to the table. All of this is done to make it as undemanding for you as possible.

wat helps u sleep?

If anoesthesia is given by a competent doc you will never no what happen. You will feel that you hold got a accurate sleep & have woked up as fresh as never. You hold neither written of your age nor type of operation. Why they don't use spinal anaoesthesia?

Are reoccuring foot crinks (when it hurts and it is hard to move it )?

You won't even know when you be in motion to sleep. They give you the anesthesia within an IV and BAM! you are gone. La la Land. You will wake up surrounded by recovery and not know what happen.
Good luck!

I am having the worst headache I've ever have, how do I know if I should go to the emergency room or not?

novocaine on that make a note of was used as a local anesthetic..solitary a certain nouns was devoid of anguish..

i assume that you will undergo a main surgery since you were told that you will be asleep throughout the procedure.. you wont be aware of a thing.. the anesthesiologist will probably use inhalational anesthetics (by instrument of a face mask) to put you to sleep first (others a moment ago fall asleep while others win a little drowsy.. but its a rapid process.. you might not be able to finish counting up to 10) next a muscle relaxant will be given through your IV to relax the muscles so they wont contract during intubation.. then he can intubate you (insert a tube down your trachea).. once anesthetize, you wont be aware of anything (that's why its important that they bring back your exact weight to compute for the right amount of anesthesia).. this process is broad endotracheal anesthesia.. then they can operate on you..

some anesthesiologists freshly use TIVA or total intravenous anesthesia (if i remember it right) but im pretty sure that there is no intubation done.. anesthesia will be given through the IV.. but this process will not put you in "vast sleep".. ive seen some patients (women who dispense birth usually) who wake up once within a while as they were man sutured.. but mostly, they dont remember that..

i hope ive been of abet in some opening..

goodluck on your surgery! have a speedy salvage..

one more entry.. your anesthesiologist should see you prior to surgery.. he's suppose to discuss how he'll do the procedure.. feel free to ask question..

What do I do if my dad believe me?

now days they put a drip which goes into your vien in the arm commonly. they put the stuff in here and you just step to sleep and there are doctors watching you adjectives the time you just wake up up and of coarse you do feel different depending on what you are have. but its like sleeping and that time is gone similar to a whiz. its neat but can be terrifying if you think something like it.
