I'm a little concerned in the region of my work colleague who has be taking eight pro-pain a day, (a palliative containing codeine) for nearly ten years). Surely, this can't be good for her. She's trying to cut down but say she's addicted. What are the potential repercussions?

the possible reprecussions are liver and kidney end, can cause respiratory problems approaching slow slow breathing....also can
cause leading stomach problems, severe constipation, intercranial pressure, and i think i am probably going on and on a moment or two too much here. so that will give you some accepted wisdom as to what happens when you lug too much of this drug.......now going on for the withdrawl symptoms==== it is a bit*h !!! you feel nausea beside vomiting, severe diarrhea, headache, watering nose & red waterey eyes......body and muscle cramping, stomach cramping and when you enjoy pain it feel like the distress is so much worse than it really is.....and if she has be taking this drug for 10 years then she is going to come down sturdy.....believe me, every word of this is true !! why ????because i have be there and be not very cheerful about the situation that i have gotten myself into........it was the worst point i have ever gone through...and i be on painkillers for about 15 years...my doc
only kept on saying OK and never turned me down. i could hold anything i wanted.......didn't business what it was, i get a prescription for anything i wanted......anyhow it took me 3 LONG
WEEKS to annul......alot of shaking and sweating and shivering.......i will never ever do this to myself again...and that's a fact jack.
i really do hope that i own helped you attain the picture of what this ordeal can be like. oh and i forgot to report you that when someone
wants to stop...later they MUST taper down gradually !!!!! or they will walk through exactly what i went through
So, i do desire your friend the best of luck and may God keep her
undisruptive, happy and glowing....and she has to do this leisurely or she will really mess herself up !!!

liver flop being the first one that comes to mind, possibly brain make worse, kidney issues. nothing nice for sure, she can obtain checked into a clinic and they can slowly taker her off the meds
