I would dress your orthopedic surgeon or someone next to knowledge of your baggage and surgery. Bones broken at 13 years old tend to repair in a few months to a condition that is stronger consequently the bone prior to the break. What I'm thinking is that the injury caused some muscular sprain not weak bones. I would address this issue and identify what your limitations may be. You may also want to explore muscle building exercises involved near weight lifting but not until you find out what brand of perminent muscle damage be sustained.
It sounds close to you had a unpromising break. I have have one in my foot. It can be strengthened, but it may other feel different. Check your bone density also try calcium for bone density and gluccosamine for lessen of joint movement.
