We are new to living in large altitude with snow on the ground adjectives of the time.We are in our 50's and surface all kind of things.We stay inside alot and was wondering if you are in a simular situtation we be wondering how you feel.Our situtation is that we stay contained by most of the time and when we do venture out for a while its extremely cold and stays that way most of the time.We are retired and find that our daytime pretty much consist of doing little things around the house and feeding our dogs ,but we consistency sleepy alot and just plain tired..Is this regular?We stay awake late into the evening and afterwards sleep sometimes 12 hours mostly 8 to 10 a day ..Then we lay around and keep watch on tv and lay in bed using the computer.. Is it majority to feel tired so much when you aren't used to cold weather and lofty altitude.We were here later year and it wasn't this cold nor did it snow that much but this year it seems to be harder on us.We sleep alot and sometims of late from laying around we are shabby and tired..Anyone?

Your metabolism is slowing down due to lack of exercise. Maybe get a treadmill to use indoors is walking outside isnt possible. You wont entail to sleep so long as your sleep will be better quality. Take up bright interests and hobbies, get out as much as possible, if you do not increse your entertainment. you will be inviting some serious health problems;
