I have around 3 canker sores in my mouth (the inside of my cheeks and inside my lip to be exact) I bought this piece called cankermelts, they're little disks that you apply on the sore and it's supposed to melt to relieve the strain but it didn't work. Anyone have any other remedies? The sores are supposed to second about 5-10 days, and I read that the mete out of them are due to stress, lack of vitamin B-12, zinc or iron.

They hurt. It hurts to put away and talk sometimes :( Help.

I also receive these from time to time, especially if the mouth lining is broken by a tooth, unyielding toast, or any small cut. My best way to ward them past its sell-by date is to hold a mouthful of Listerine or generic equivalent in my mouth for several minutes as soon as the cut is noticed. I do this several times a hours of daylight and generally a full blown sore can be avoided. The same treatment is also forceful in speeding the seizure from a full sores. Do the treatment right after eating anything and beforehand bed - also avoid candy or other sweets during the healing.
