Whats a good military art for someone with a foot injury?


I have chronic de-quervains tenosinovitus, which affects the tendons in my not here wrist, so I cant do grappling or open hand striking. I can make a fist and am thinking something similar to Wing-Chun, or Tai-Chi (is Tai Chi a martial art?) . I have need of to get fit again and cannot do counterbalance training anymore becasue of the injury. Any help appreciated. I live contained by London, any dojo recommendations?

Tai-Chi is a wonderful perception for you. Yes, it is a marital art. Instead of striking an protest (which would aggravate your injury) you do smooth yet strong constant moves. I own a back injury and found Tai-Chi be exactly what I needed to help me mend. It give you the power of movement back but it also teach you how to center yourself and draw energy from your inner self "chi".
