Curved spine?

is it possible for a doctor to diagniose a curved spine without sending you to the hospital. my rear feels sore on the hip but one and only on on side and when i try to stand tall it hurts more, also when i saunter i tend to lean to one side(not like the hunchback of notredam obviously)but i can touch it.
could it just be a muscle problem because the stomach-ache is geting worse and spreading down my right leg.
ive already got a doctrs appointment.

Could be a disc or muscle or your Sacroiliac joint or any number of things. You're doing the right thing by going to the doctor.

Frying inside of lead?

All they have to do to check for scelosis to to run their finger down your spine.

what could this be??

This might be a serious problem. Go to hospital for an MR. Because a curved spine may disturb you profoundly in frequent ways. Scoliosis may be treated with exercises at untimely stages. Get well soon.

Both my shoulder blades and up my collar burn. those muscles are very in poor health. I'm only competent to fold 2 sheets at

It might be something like sciatica? Best to check beside your doc though and explain the symptoms to them. What seems similar to leaning to one side to you may not be anywhere close at hand as pronounced to them.

Can a Doctors refuse to contribute an copy of my medical records?

yes it is possible. i hold had it done. i have multiple back operation and alot of pain. the doctor does an exam and have you do various movements to see limitations and measures the amount of moovement. he them feel your back and can report you if you have a curviture of the spine in most cases. my doctor said mine be curved and also was twisted as ably. so in most cases they can relate just by the exam and measure and how it looks and feels. but here are times when a xray is needed too it really depends on your doctor. hope this helps....... randy

My children are 16 & 14. Their pediatrician moved away and we have need of a new doctor.?

My dr sent me to the hospital to confirm my curved spine, its only a couple of xrays and wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. they will prob suggest taking nurofen (or suchlike) to steal away any swelling and will probably also recommend physio. I am having physio at the mo, and even though i own pain whilst doing it, fundamentally i can feel it working and the discomfort is starting to subside. I hope it gets sorted vigorously for you and as pain free as poss. x

If here isn't a practitioner listed practical you, it might be worth contacting Quantum-Touch and ask if there's a student near you who could treat you for free.

Pure science? or still guess work? can they still articulate they don't know?

Well a curved spine is a pretty general diagnosis. As some of your other answers suggest it's medical designation is (probably) a scoliosis. I say probably because a scoliosis is a sideways curveature that make the spine instead of straight up and down, twisted into an "S" shape. (The Dr could also be describing an exaggeration on the normal curves but I haven't space to shift into all possibilities here.)
Pain down the leg is typical of sciatica - inflammation of the sciatic resolve, which is not muscular. This could be as a direct result of the structural imbalance you hold described.
Your best bet for effective treatment is beside an Osteopath or Chiropractor. Their specialisation is precisely with type of condition. My suggestion for a easy-going effective treatment is near a McTimoney Chiropractor and you can find one on; www.mctimoney-chiropractic.org

I just have a nose bleed and very soon I am spitting up blood, is this normal?

curved spine, AKA scoliosis is generally diagnosed in the precipitate teens. and yes a doctor can diagnose VERY easily. to do a self diagnosis return with your mom, a friend or someone to take a look at you from down.
you will need to be at tiniest semi nude on your torso for best results, if your female as your peak id seem to suggest, you can keep a bra on if you customarily wear one.
now hold your hand together flat as if praying. now extend your arms forward so your arms are height with your shoulders.
in a minute bend forward as far as you can from your waist attempting to keep your pay for as straight as you can.

now the soul looking at you should be able to see one shoulder sophisticated than the other if scoliosis is present (mild or even as bad as the hunchback of notre dame).
If in that is no difference in shoulder point then the probability are you have a muscle problem and not scoliosis. so consult a professional such as your doctor.
also if you do have suspected scoliosis or worse scoliosis kyphosis (scoliosis is the detectable curve on a normaly straigh spine, the kyphosis is like a C shaped curve surrounded by the lower spine and is clearly visible when your flesh is showing to anyone competent to see, likewise you will know how to run your fingers up your spine, and if it starts to curve and not go straight up after you have a kyphosis which is VERY scratchy to deal with).

Your doctor will refer you to a specialist for any the scoliosis or the muscle problems (if either are a authentic issue).
your first course of action if you require treatment for scoliosis is to progress the non surgical route. if you have to wear a rear legs brace while it is undoubtedly VERY uncomfortable to wear 23 out of 24 hours a daytime. better that than risking the surgical option, which contained by my case go wrong and failed to correct the mild cramp i was surrounded by, i'm now surrounded by a lot more torment than i was formerly the surgery.
SO ONLY consider surgery IF the pain is intolerable and you want to risk being not here either within more pain than earlier surgery or worse the surgery could fail or the surgeon could brand a mistake and leave you paralized.

as for the niggle spreading down your legs that sounds more like a trapped gall (often associated with scoliosis, (welll it is within my case)).

either channel you NEED to see your doctor. as if it is a rapped rudeness then that will with the sole purpose get worse the longer you evacuate it. so get refered to a specialist who can operate and relese the chutzpah.

all that assuming i'm right.

I hope you are not suffering next to scoliosis in any form. as it get worse the longer you leave it since you seek treatment.

i said above that it is in general easily diagnosed within your teens. Younsters as young as 5 can be diagnosed beside it too.
again the process to diagnose is easily recognised when bent over contained by the manner detailed above.

if this does turn out to be scoliosis afterwards you can search the net for more details. try this link for a roll of related links.
