When you think of several things in the past bed time you tend to stay awake and then you find more things to meditate about, bills,relationships, memories and so on. Ummm.... from a fellow insomniac who has have trouble sleeping on a regular basis since I can't remember when, something specifically simple and easy to transport is the over the counter medication, Benedryl. If you don't like using a alergy medication, there are tons of other over the counter medication for sleeplessness. Also, a vitamin that helps is melatonin and maganese. And, you probably might do best to simply not try to sleep at adjectives.... read a book, watch a movie, listen to music, play on the internet or something close to that to take your mind rotten of your thoughts, which will help you relax.
