MCL & Meniscus Tear?
I have be having dull pain on the inside of my knee when I stroll, bend it inwards, and sleep. It is also sore to the touch. I went to a primary dr. who referred me to an Orthopedic dr. because she believed it be a torn MCL then I go to the Ortho dr. and he said to get an MRI and believed it might be a torn MCL and a meniscus rupture. I got the MRI results today and the radiologist have a report in nearby staying that everything looked fine. I take the films to my Ortho on Friday to see what he say but is there a providence the radiologist made a mistake while interpreting what she saw?
Answer:
2 days after ACL surgery. is this normal?
Always a occasion for a mistake. Your orthopod will have the final read aloud on what the problem is, but you obviously enjoy something going on in your knee. Meniscus/MCL opening is generally a tremendously common injury complex.

...doubt it. Most docs have the films read by them. Not to verbs, the surgical fix is a snap (no pun intended). If it hurts get it fixed pronto. Its no more than a trip to the dentist.I have have MRI reads come hindmost negative from the radiologist and upon a second read next to a couple of sets of eyes there is something on the MRI that would indicate a slash. The best bet is to correlate the results of the MRI with the physical findings of the orthopod and possibly beside a physical therapist. There are dependable provocative tests that can relief in decide what structures may be at fault. Professional view here it sounds like a meniscus injury versus a MCL crack. The MCL is a very tight ligament and it would steal a good force to shred it. However, a meniscus can tear of late out of degeneration of the tissues. Hope this helps.
