I don't truthfully know, but I think it would be as soon as poss. after adjectives a nice bath is rather soothing.This is a query that should have be answered by your surgeon.
You don't want to soak a fresh wound, so the skin needs to restore to health first. My biggest concern would be getting out of the tub.
Discuss it with your surgeon and/or physical consultant.

Its been almost a year since ive have my done, and i still havent takin a bath..i hsve newly takin showers, but i would say its best to dally till u have your 3 month check beside your dr. because after my 3 months i was competent to do everything i used to do before i have the replacement done.I have a muscle spasm where on earth my back meet my neck....How do I obtain it to relax?
Normally you can take a shower beside the incision uncovered as soon as it heals and near is no seepage. Some people cover the plaster with plastic so they can shower even sooner. I didn't try that but my incision be completely healed in about 2 weeks from the hip surgery.Tub bathing is a slightly different issue. There are other factor to consider and those concern the danger of slipping and falling in a slippery, drizzly tub, and whether you will violate a post-op precaution about bending the hip ancient 90 degrees as you go and get into or out of the tub. I would have be hard-pressed to even be able to sit contained by the bottom of the tub until several months had passed.
My home vigour care nurse informed me when I could without risk shower and get the incision drizzling. For me that was roughly speaking two weeks post-op. Your experience may differ slightly, so ask before you soak.
This is the sort off ask you need to ask your consultant really.Usually its a few mths but it all depends on the hot ball socket they use too.Doing things similar to this can sometimes make the socket verbs out off place again,but they do use a cement to hold the socket in place too.Ask your consultant ist thou.
