Try aloe vera. It is a full-size, 1 1/2 foot long, cactus leaf, that can be found within any green grocer. You cut slices of it and rub the the goo on the wound. Works like a charm for salutary and reducing scarring. You can get Vitamin E in almost any drug store, although I suspect that you external wounds will not know how to absorb much unless it is an unguent.
