My arm won't bend? Anyone know what happen? Ten points for best answer!!!?
Pressing on your nail bed is a non invaisive assessment which checks for capillary refill time. This is a rough estimate of peripheral circulation, and have nothing to do near oxygen levels contained by the blood. A pulse oxymeter is a machine which non-invasively meaures blood oxygenation level.
With the capillary refill, you press the nouns until it blanches whitish. Then you release the pressure and the skin should blush back to pink inwardly two seconds. If it take longer than that, then you may own circulation issues from diabetes, or peripheral vascular disease or low blood pressure or clotting disorders.
If your moved out arm is numb, you need to see a doctor to find it looked at because it could be anything from simple neuralgia to a fibroma.

I am not sure what symptoms you have..... poor oxygen or circulation ... trying to give any type of diagnosis next to out more information is... pretty much impossible.... They were pressing on you staple.... to check for capillary refill.... to determine the amount of time it took for the capillary in your finger to top up with blood..pressing on your fastener... stops the flow of blood into it... then the see how long it take after its blanched or turns white to refill near blood and turn pink... this is only 1 single oral exam that alone wont give a diagnosis...
