My husband is surrounded by the army has be to iraq and back and after adjectives the jumping around he did his acl held up. Just following the surgery, you'll be down for at smallest a few days.In general, they'll permit you walk beside crutches and a locked brace a week after. Then a week after that, they'll let you meander with the locked brace, but no crutches. A week after that, assuming your recouping is tracking right, they'll let you put your foot in the brace, but unlocked.

i am so not trying to alarm you but my ex b/f was contained by a car coincidence and could walk fine beside a limp that time but the next year he had to budge to e/r and found with mri that he have completely blown it....(it didnt exist anymore)....so he had surgery and they give him one from a cadaver (dead person)....then it popped on him after he started phys psychiatric therapy and the did another mri and said his patella (kneecap) was broken but should make well on its own....total time elapsed?...from surgery to now is 4 months.....honourable luck but dont get your hopes up and dont fret around it....live for today - yesterday is gone and tomorrow might not come!
