Should I bend my fractured finger after a week to relieve stiffness?
I've have epidurals for spinal pain, but not this fastidious procedure.
The FAQs here: http://www.reddinganesthesia.com/epiduro... indicate that you may expect to wait 5-7 days for the steroid to see in, and that you may necessitate 1 or 2 more procedures to obtain nouns, and that those who have recent scarring (as in, from your vertebrae surgery) have the best fate of success. The most significant point this procedure does differently from an epidural, in my belief, is the injection of a salt solution to verbs the scar tissue so the medication can get the area of distress. I would expect the procedure to be irritating, and for an initial increase of discomfort before the medication take effect.
Done right, the procedure looks well-thought-out and cutting snake to me. Remember that physical therapy is member of the package, starting in a couple of weeks. Taking extra caution of the muscles that support and stabilize your spine, and keeping your weight full-bodied, are critical, and should become a lifelong habit.
Good luck -- I know how draining spinal torment is, mentally and physically.
