ok im doing my homework for medical school and it say name a few ways to break/fracture a bone. would falling down the stairs and landing on a unpromising area of the leg be one? If you fell one and only down a few stairs would your leg break? STORIES WELCOME! thanks!

Just falling wouldn't do it. What you would need is for incongruous pressures to be applied to the bone so it would bend. Just falling unless you have fragile bones wouldn't do it. For example, if you fell, and get your leg caught in something, enunciate a banister, and you kept falling against the object, it would break.

Joints, in opposition, could just break if you fell on it wrong.

I had a funky break as a kid. I be climbing a peg board at school and get a stress fracture in my humerus. Apparently when the bone formed at hand was a bubble-like cyst within there and the stress from the hobby made it crack through.

My orthopedist had never see anything like it since, and the cast I have was not your ordinary sling, it had a loop on the top and hung from my nouns.

i broke my foot slideing into 3rd substructure wrong in softball, broke my big toe hitting it gard against wood, broken knuckles, fall off a bunk bed and broke my wrist, broke my wrist again in volley orb, broke the same wrist for the 3rd time falling out of a tree, and i freshly broke my wrist for a 4th time skate boarding..
