What cause farts to smell bad - Like REALLY desperate?

Sorry, I think I may hold to toss him back! (j/k) But seriously, I own NEVER smelled farts this bad! He (for the ending 8 yrs) has have farts that smell like something died in nearby mixed with rotten eggs. It's so disgusting. What would gross someone's farts smell so foul?

BTW - he is lactose intolerant - but he doesn't eat or drink dairy.

There are so plentiful possibilities. Usually the primary suspect is food, but one person can munch through really spicy or pungent foods and you'd never know it when they do a crop duster run in your presence, while other associates eat ordinary food and can fell an ox at 30 paces. Could be a hypersensitivity to foods that his body can't process effectively. My dad was diabetic and have awful gas. I don't know if that has anything to do beside it, or if it was the garlic and onions he ate every morning...dawdle a sec, I think a feathery just come on...

Might also be irritable bowel syndrome. As a new appendage of the IBS club, I started out thinking I was a short time ago lactose intolerant, but I still wasn't back to 100% after I give up dairy. Someone clued me in that red meat is also a unpromising guy for IBS. Sure enough, I give that up and haven't felt this regular in a couple of years. I don't know exactly why red meat can rationale so much pain and discomfort (and gas) for some culture, but it does. Maybe have him try a no red meat (which funds mammals, by the way - beef, pork (I miss mah bacon!!)) diet for a few days, see if that make a difference. Good luck!
