My knees hurt and crack?

I have this problem where on earth my knees will start to hurt and feel similar to they are out of place so i hold to push down on the knee near my hands and crack them, it cracks unbelievably loud and hurts, but feels better right after doing it. Also when i bend my knees they crack every time. the right is worst next the left but they are both fruitless. i never hurt them. this has be a problem for many years, i am with the sole purpose 19. whats going on??
