Ear cartilidge Rejection/absorbtion!??

I got my ear done a week or so ago, and it seem fine for a day or two. Then it become very sore and slightly swollen, and since afterwards the stud has decrease visible, but till raise above the surface of the ear cartilidge. How can I counter-act this, and make sure it is not entirely held by my ear?
(I had this develop with a lobe once and have to get it pushed out, which be painful and bloody).
Also, I hold another cartilidge piercing which is about 3 months outmoded, and in which I lately attempted to put a ball-closure ring. I got the ring in, but not the bubble. Then tried to remove the ring, and couldnt. Now, I just hold a ring with a hiatus! How should I deal near this?

lift it out now up to that time it needs to be removed by a doctor. for some, cartilage piercings enjoy no problems and for others, it's not a good perception. sounds like your body may enjoy problems with this humane of piercing. if you can't remove the ring, you should probably have a doctor appropriate it out and check out your ears for infection. good luck.
