Spider bite?

last night i get bit by a spider twice on my right calf, and 2day i have a sore throat, i be wondering could a spider bite give u a sore throat or is it merely coincidence?

I plainly think that it could be due to the spider bite. This newly happened to a friends daughter, and she done up spending 2 weeks in the hospital due to some kind of blood infection from the bite.
