Effect of Nicotine Gum for Non-Smokers?

I would like to see an article just about effects of Nicotine Gum for Non-Smokers. In other words, if someone has never smoked or taken nicotine in the past, what are the effects or benefits.

I saw couple of 'personal' opinions on similar question but i'm looking for something more official.

Why in the world would a non smoker use nicotine gum??? If you haven't found anything ...ceremonial...on this, it's because the notion is so ridiculous that no sane person have ever considered it.
