Slit wrists vs hands chopped stale?

What the hell! how is it that people take out themselves by slitting their wrists and when some people bring their hands chopped rotten in some misfortune, they suvive? I've seen pics of citizens who had their hand cut off at the wrist surrounded by some industrial accident or something and survive...

the reson people dont die as repeatedly from haveing there hand sliced off is because they actualy try to stop the bleeding and aim medical attetion, the reson people die when they slit in that wrists is because they usualy slit down along the vein channel much larger area to bleed from, and later go sit surrounded by a tub of warm watter witch incresses blood flow, and dont hope medical attetion. its simple hands cut sour in an accdent +medical assistance =survival, slit wrists+ no medical help= death
