you can recognise it b-cause it will be really red and sore. usually a pedicurist can pull it out for u but if it get really bad. u might hold 2 go to a doctor and achieve it cut out. u can prevent it by cutting ur toenails straight across and try not 2 pick at it. thats what give me mine.

i have have 3 cut out.&they havent come back however.:)
