What can you drink like mad of to shut down your kidneys temporarily so you do not pee out drugs?

I'm sure no one will believe me when I speak I don't do drugs and this is just my curiosity calling, any way, anyone know what you can drink that would do that? I be watching a movie and I saw a guy drink a colorless liquid to accomplish that purpose...I thought it was vinegar at the time.
