Why does my boyfriend twitch as he's falling asleep?

it's commonplace and a lot of folks do it. it's because he is entering the first realm of sleep. if you view him i bet his eyes are even fluttering. this is the realm of sleep where on earth the muscles start to relax and where you would dream. primarily your body is asleep but your brain is still awake. which is why if you were to have a word to him he would still hear you. some people achieve really bad near spasms. me personally i find that my entire leg will drop and it normally startles me into wake up. good luck but it is average and nothing you can do to fix it.
