Stitches on heel- going in sea?

I'm in a shape now because I get surgery on my heel.
i'm getting cast stale in more or less two weeks, and on that day i'm going away for a camping trip..
can i progress into the lake near my stitches?
and if the doctor ends up taking my stitches out on that day is that okay too?
is in that something i should cover the area beside so it dosent get infected?

If the wound is healed adequate to take the stitches out, I doubt that it would be a problem. But brand name sure to ask your doctor while you're there! If he say that you need to cover it...we use a plastic rucksack, similar to a gallon ziplock type bag and cut it down to size and consequently tape it to the skin to protect incision sites and IV sites when patients involve to shower/do pool therapy. If it's technically small they make rainproof bandaids that work pretty well (I used to use them when I be on a swim team). Either way, enjoy fun and don't forget your sunscreen! ;-)

How long is a nap? To be considered a snooze? or how long is a power nap verse a cat nap?

Only if near is no open wound. Some times the wound hasn't completely heal so if that is the overnight case, do not enter dirty water. Good luck

if the incision is heal -and where the stitches be in the skin -arent raise up a lil ,and/or arent a little red-then i would enunciate definately-however -i would still use something like triple antibiotic or neosporin and hold on to the area wrapped surrounded by a gauze bandage for a while after, freshly to be sure that you will remain healthy-good luck
