Does alcohol take home your temperature turn up or down?

Hubby says alcohol is a great cooling agent...
If that's so, consequently why is it anytime I drink alcohol it rises my temperature?

Make sense? Any relieve will be greatly appreciated.

Alcohol raise your blood pressure and also lowers your ability to control the amount of blood flowing through your vein,this is why so many freeze to loss while intoxicated.It is a blood thinner and does not raise your heat it just make you feel flushed as it raise your blood pressure.

Kind of funny you asked this cuz me and my friends did an expierement on this very article a while ago. My body temperature be steady in between 96.5 and 97.5 degree. I stayed in equal room and did no extra physical activity while I drank. About partially an hour and 10 shots later we checked my heat again. It has risen to 98 degree. We did the same exact item for another half an hour and it be up to 98.5. It wasn't a dramatic rise in warmth but it was proof that your body heat rises while drinking. I can't give you quantifiable proof why but I can say that I categorically know it raises.
