My knees hurts what can it be?

I am 22 years old and surrounded by the marines. About 2 weeks ago I banged my knees with my rifle. It hurt for a moment but the misery went away. Now for the second couple of days I have have pain on that knees. It is only when I head off it still for a while. The worse pains have be the last 2 night. I have woke up in the order of 5 times each hours of darkness with intense discomfort. What can it be? What should I do?

Go see the Doc, but more than credible you bruised the bone and no big deal. If you truned it or wrenched afterwards I would say you tore a miniscus and that have to be repaired! Good luck!

It could be water on the knees; is it swollen? Press your thumb into it and see if it leaves an indentation momentarily to check for swelling. It could be a deep type bruising or even a miniscus shred. I have a miniscus gash and every now and after it throbs. Also when it's humid, damp and/or cold, it get very sensitive to the point where I may enjoy difficulty walking. I would say if it's still bothering you in another week, enjoy it checked out.

it could be that you hurt your cartlidge inside your knee. put rime on it and if not better soon carry it checked out--it could lock up on you then you won't be capable of move.check it out first---or get a knees support first try that------okay wish you the best...
