Cut finger initiate with a blade blade?

i cut it with a run through across the tip of my left middle finger to the middle knuckle on my index finger. it be bleeding a lot. i put an adheiseive wrapping on it tight. that didn't help so i newly wrapped on some medical tape around it and held a papertowel tightly aruond it. i looked-for to know when to take stale the tape and the ice pack so this way i do not interested it up.
