Received an Epidural anesthesia for luxury of labor on 5/25. It took the anesthesologist 5 tries?

to get it inserted correctly. I would resembling to add that on the 2nd attempt my departed side went numb. Thank god she get it on the 5th try. I had/have major agony in my put a bet on, leg and constant spinal headaches. My obgyn have me going to a speacialist. MRI shows a herniated disc at the site where the epidural be placed and bulges in the other locations notated contained by my records, and a few other issues similar to nerve wreckage. I am thinking about trying this issue as legitimate case. My dr. States I will live the rest of my duration with subsidise problems. I just turned 25 and hold a newborn and a 21 mnth old, both boys. Some trunk points I need opinion on, my records by the anesthesia crna just states 'she had trouble next to placement but got it on the 2nd try' this is incorrect documentation. As I said it took 5 times and I have trouble with total loss sentiment in my disappeared said before any meds be released. I felt it in half a shake after she stuck the needle.I enjoy a picture of my back after coming home, which shows 5 red dots, similar to that of a bug bite, which shows placement attempts. Also the consent forms are in my chart but not signed by me. So what do you chew over about this? Can she properly lie nearly the attempts?

Diagnosis anyone?

YES, definitely, you hold a case, contained by any hospital any medical provider only get two attempts, after that they are suppose to get someone else! your wager on may have already have problems, you would have to have a recent x-ray or documentation that you never had final related problems prior to that. BUT you can not lie on a medical document, the hospital have malpractice insurance for that, I am sure the hospital director would happily settle near you to keep from going to court, also include any FUTURE medical expenses if you settle! and "no" she can not sprawl, if any other medical personnel was within the room, get their name, you may need them as witness's! Good luck. Tash

Cut from a dog bite?

I would attain a lawyer. I enjoy had an epideral and they get it right the first time. No dr is supposed to lie in the region of how many times they tried something. I would noticeably document that and see your lawyer

Overdosing On Hydrocodone?

Wow. I'm so sorry this have happened to you, and I hope you can find a doctor that can afford you a more hopeful prognosis. I'm no lawyer, but I'd read aloud you definitely own a case. If I be you, I'd consult a lawyer ASAP. I'll bet he'd report to you to go for it too, especially since you enjoy picture documentation. The anesthesiologist can sure try to lie, but if you enjoy visual proof of your claims, she won't hold much ground to stand on.

Good luck, and I wish you the best.
