How can I tumble asleep instantly?
I was watching this nigthmare on elm street movie, and yeah I know it sounds stupid, but a guise in the movie make herself fall asleep instantly and after she tells the behaviour [in the dream] that made her knock him out, "See, I have a better process, Doc told me 'Concentration, Meditation'".
So I'm wondering if there's any truth to that. In the scene, she falls asleep instantly. I want to know if there's some sort of meditation technique or something to do that for me. Anyone know?

I'm sure meditation would back but not that much.It takes just about 7 to15 min. to fall asleep and afterwards into an REM state. We all own Melatonin in our brains to help us jump down asleep.
Not watching scary movies formerly bedtime will make you fall over asleep much faster ;)

Do some exercises before you sleep.. that channel no shower after the exercises and straight to bed..lie down beside your legs slightly apart and hands facing upwards. concentrate on your breathing and u will be quick asleep

i wouldn't speak you can fall asleep instantly in smaller amount than one minuet (unless you're really tired).medication like those sleeping stuff can abet, but be careful to get hold of addicted to them, and they need approaching a few minuetes to kick within.
just try closing your eyes (that's what i do), next i start thinking about disorganized things and how long i will stay awake, and then suddenly surrounded by the morning i don't remember the last article i was thinking nearly.
or try listening to lecutures or music on your ipod or something.

Do some yoga asana which will benefit you resembling anythingand i am sure your problem will bw solved
1) Practise one asana i.e SHAVA ASANA ----- this is the asana for relaxation of you body practise it for daily 10 min

2) While going to sleep read a book (good book) this may help you
3) Practise meditation for 10 min . day after day
4) Practise PRANAYAMA
5) Practise breathing exercise
these are the things which makes your mind harmonious
and ultimately when mind is peaceful your body will be relaxed

Pan to forehead is non-habit forming , but you may want to consult beside your local psychologist to see if pan to the forehead is alright for you.
The simply way I know how to fall over a sleep that fast is to drop a brick on my skipper...

Just clear your mind and don't think in the region of anything. Everytime you start to think give or take a few your day or verbs about the subsequent day, purely tell yourself not to meditate about anything and relax your mind. It works for me everytime when I want to topple asleep right away.Hold your breath for as long as you can, you'll eventually endorse out and fall asleep (don't verbs, you'll breathe again when you are unconscious).

Excellent idea. I suggest with practise a entity could train themselves to fall to sleep faster and faster. It is a bit resembling memory tricks, the more you use the trick, the faster you will will learn to dribble to sleep. But there is more to it. Some individuals fall to sleep easier than others ie. brain chemistry, fatigue height, etc. There must be some benefits to falling to sleep faster. Don't you think?This is a ask for people close to doctors I guess I could say.?
Make sure you are completely exhausted, then lay contained by bed...works for me every time. I do not think nearby is any truth to this, it just doesn't build sense, if there be, we'd have a cure for Insomnia.More Questions & Answers...
