I'm a 15 year old, when can I in fact take stale my body brace? (scoliosis)?

My doctor says that it depends on when I can filch it off. She say that when my body stops growing (I'm 5'6''), then I'll be capable of take bad my brace. But still, my self-esteem decreases. I can't wear the clothes I usually wear. Plus, I look butter while wearing the brace! How can I enjoy my end few years of teenhood?
