My Tongue Is Having Problems =/?

It started out looking like for a moment white circle patch on the left side of my tongue and those said it looked burnt. I didn't burn it >.>
This happend a few months ago, and it go away for a while. Then it came put money on. Then there be 2 of them! Then the two, somehow moved to the other side of my tongue and joined together making purely one big spot, which is now of late red. AND it never used to hurt but now it does.
Does anyone know what this could be??
