Has anyone get this bug thats going round?
I've had this sickness and diarrhoea bug for 2 weeks, i surmise it's gastric flu: which i had when i be pregnant. The pain is so severe, but does come and be in motion. It's like a cramp within your gut; i get fevery - adjectives hot and sweaty and then suddenly really cold. I get the impression sick but i havent been sick. Anyone going through or be through the same point lately. I know a few people who own had it. What did you do? I don't similar to the doctors as they just afford me antibiotics which do nothing for me.

Wow I have something like that. It last for almost a month and I still don't think I'm completely over it. The diarrhea is pretty much over. I be going a LOT. I would get severe nausea bouts. I could hear my stomach flushing contents into my bowels, I be having seriously of audible bowel sounds. Gas too, and I bloated from even just a drink. I never threw up even though I feel like it a few times every time. The nausea hasn't come much the last few days, and my stools are much more solid but still not totally run of the mill yet. I would obtain so sweaty too! Of course I'm in South Texas near my car a/c out of use... but in my apt I would enjoy it below 70 just to quality "not hot", whereas I normally would hold been freezing! Sometimes I would achieve quick chills too, and other times I didn't really have a feeling cold but I would start chattering my teeth as if I was freezing. I feel so sick and I'm so glad it's going away. I am a nursing student and I wish I know what it was! It really have interferred with so much the end month. Oh yeah and the cramping, I would almost daily experience some intermittent bleak abdominal pain. And I have my period ultimate week and it wasn't quite regular either. I've never be pregnant by the way. Gastric flu sounds close to a great guess! I figured I'm too broke right very soon and don't have insurance so I wouldn't return with medical assistance unless it just get too bad or last another few weeks. Plus I agree, doctors just foot out antibiotics like candy... and if it's a virus, that ain't no perfect. And I always achieve diarrhea from antibiotics. LOL! I did notice my symptoms be greatly less soon when I took an Atarax (aka Vistaril) that I left over from an behind the times rx. It's an antihistamine, so I would suggest trying an antihistamine, even Benadryl, to lessen your symptoms. Cause yeah most likely it's simply a bug and you gotta wait it out, so might as very well make you more comfortable! Aleve solution gels work QUICK on me if I own sudden pain, so I would suggest that for when the abdominal cramps come on. Being sick is miserable. I hope you achieve better soon.
generally this bug should not last longer than a few days so u really should see a doctor.
my cousin have it recently and he have to go to hospital as he have had it for 5 days.

That's not polite. You could get severely feeling thirst if this carries on. Take diahoralite (can't remember how it's spelt!), drink plenty of fluids (little and commonly and not tea or coffee) and eat dry toast and biscuits. I've also hear flat "full sugar" coke is really good as it replaces the sugars surrounded by your body. The doctors always narrate you its a virus but I would get a second assessment immediately. Two weeks next to gastro flu is not good for your body. It's not alike as normal flu. By the course you say you hold the sickness bug but haven't been sick! Have you have the diarrhoea or just stomach cramps? As I said walk back to the doctor asap or even A&E if the doctor keep sending you away with pills and they don't work.More Questions & Answers...
