I went to the hospital...cant draw from stitches?

I cut my finger on a snow cone machine blade. I be cleaning it out and I eneded up cutting the tip of my middle finger on my right foot. I got a cloth and apply pressure on it to stop the bleeding. I probably bled for at lowest possible 20-30 minutes and. Then
the bleeding finally reduced. I applied peroxide and neosporin
on the cut. Well this morning it was looking sickening. So I did go to the hospital but the nurse said it be too long to get it sutured. So she only cleaned it with peroxide for me.

So is within a certain time stricture to when you should get stitches?
I dont apprehend how it was too overdue.

The cut happened around 11:30pm.
I go to the hospital around 3 in the afternoon the subsequent day.

Stitches are supposed to be put contained by within 8 hours of the injury otherwise the risk of infectiion is far too glorious. Thats why the hospital never put them on you.
I dont know why they didnt glue or put Streri Strips on it though. Just breed sure you keep it absolutelty verbs to avoid infection.

hmm thats weird. My friend cut her finger on a piece of chalice and then didn't shift into the doctor until the next hours of daylight and got stitches.
