What to eat up to that time donating blood?

im giving blood today at 4:14 it is 9:30 right now. I did this contained by high college a few years back but i dont remember what i ate. Please bequeath me some tips on what to do and some insight.

they have be calling me alot lately because my blood type is o- and i guess they need it really fruitless.

I also have terribly small veins so will it pinch longer?

How long is the process?
