Should i see a doc?
i've noticed that if i don't drink at least possible one or two cups of tea, hot or iced, a day that my hand and ankles swell. i assume its because tea is a diaretic, but should i be worried about the river retention? i've been trying to cut down on my tea consumption because i be up to 5 cups a day and i figure that's way too much. could the swelling be lately a symptom of cutting down on tea?
Answer:
I doubt the swelling is because of cutting down on tea. You could be retaining marine, but the question later would be why. You may consider speaking to a doctor about why this is taking place, though in the meantime if you want to avoid adjectives the tea, try drinking cranberry juice which is also a instinctive diuretic, and may help if to be precise the problem.
I would check with your doctor only to be on the safe side. I've never hear of swelling from cutting down on tea.. Not that it doesn't transpire just because I've never hear of it! LOL Just better safe than sorry!
Hope this help!
