wow i own been within your situation to many times to count. Just preserve doing everything your doing, and just keep on it out. But dont baby it, cuz if it get to lazy while salutary, then its going to b rugged to start in on training again, expecially when competition is practical. But still, take it glib and give it time to restore to health. Other then that you purely have to dally. Make sure your ankle is wrapped well for practice and competition. Nothing sucks more later having an almost heal sprain that gives out a few days in the past a meet.

R.I.C.E. helps greatly but also try to stay off of ur ankle as much as possible.
u should stay bad your ankle for the next five weeks because a sprained ankle take about 6 weeks to fully restore to health so your ankle will be better by competiton... i hope my answer is useful... also wraping it will build it better too

Don't grasp back on it to efficient. Believe me. i broke my ankle 5 years ago and since then i hold sprained it twice and broken it once again last year. TAKE IT EASY OR YOU WILL SUFFER IN THE LONG RUN.Ice it three times a afternoon for 30 minutes. I sprained my ankle really bad, 1 sunshine before a huge volleyball tourney and 1 week in the past Nationals. I didn't play in the first tourney, but I walk out my ankle a lot, making sure to rime it and be very far-sighted, and I was fund up and playing with some niggle still at Nationals. Keep on wrapping it and maybe try an busy ankle?
